2 killed, 3 injured in shooting in Inglewood


Two people were killed and three others were injured in a shooting in Inglewood on Saturday.

The circumstances of the shooting are not known, but the Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatched paramedics to the scene near Manchester Avenue and 11th Street around 4:40 p.m.

One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Inglewood police. A second male victim died while being transported to a nearby hospital. None have been identified by authorities.

Three other victims, all men, were taken to hospitals for treatment, one of whom was reported to be in serious condition. The other people are believed to have injuries that are not life-threatening, investigators said.

Authorities are reviewing surveillance camera footage from nearby businesses in hopes of learning more about the shooting.

No suspect information was available as the investigation continued.

With skyrocketing overhead several cars can be seen riddled with bullet holes and shattered windshields.
