BMW Motorrad has unveiled the 2025 version of its litre-class sportbike, the S 1000 RR, for international markets. The new model is just a cosmetically different iteration of its predecessor while remaining largely the same on the mechanical front.
The front fascia of the 2025 model looks more bulbous than before with curved headlamp cowls. The size of the winglets has also become larger and they are almost as big as those of the M 1000 RR. They are also functionally more efficient and generate more downforce than previous models. The fairings, similar to the 2009 model, boast an asymmetric design with an exhaust vent on the left and gills on the right. Additionally, BMW has integrated brake cooling ducts into the front fenders to cool the disc brakes during track sessions.
On the features front, Pro riding mode and M quick-action throttle now come standard. It is powered by a 999cc, inline-four engine that produces 206.51bhp and 113Nm. The list of available electronic assists is as long as ever, including traction control, slide control function, ABS with brake slide assist, four ride modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic and Race), hill start control, bi-directional quickshifter, launch control Are included. , and pit lane limiter.
The BMS S 1000 RR is available in three variants in India – Standard, Pro and Pro M Sport, with prices ranging between Rs. 20.75 lakh and Rs. Rs 25.25 lakh, ex-showroom. The new models will definitely demand some premium over the existing models.
