5 things players might have missed

Rockstar Games has yet to officially reveal Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6, but the gaming community got a good look at the unfinished title through leaked footage last year. Although this incident was quite unfortunate for the studio, excitement around the title seems to have increased. Actually, there is discussion on the internet about the leaked content.

In this article, we’ll take a look at five things players may have missed from last year’s leaked footage of GTA 6. That said, everything seen in the leaked video is subject to change, as the game is still under development.

Multiplayer lobby limits and 4 more things players may have missed from GTA 6’s leaked footage

1) Number of interiors

Grand Theft Auto fans have long been complaining about the lack of accessible interior in Grand Theft Auto 5’s Story Mode. Strangely, it has less interior design than some older titles. However, it appears that debug code has been spotted in a leaked clip that mentions 157 interiors.

GTA Forums user Garza recently compiled a document describing the leaked footage in detail. The 60-page PDF mentions supermarkets, bars and restaurants as buildings eligible for entry. It’s possible that Rockstar may change the number of accessible interiors before the game’s release, but that remains to be seen.

2) Shoulder swap

The ability to switch shoulders allows players to choose between a left-hand or right-hand grip when aiming the weapon. This gives an extra level of comfort, as everyone has different preferences. This feature is not present in Grand Theft Auto 5, but was seen in a GTA 6 leak.

It was shown only briefly in the leaked footage, so some people may have missed seeing it. This may seem like a minor mechanic, but it helps improve the overall gunplay. Interestingly, this ability is included in Rockstar’s 2012 release, Max Payne 3.

3) wild life

Rockstar has recently started incorporating a lot of wildlife into their games. Grand Theft Auto 5 features deer, cougars and coyotes, and even some marine life. This was further expanded upon in the gaming studio’s 2018 release, Red Dead Redemption 2, and it looks like the next Grand Theft Auto may also include wildlife.

The names of many animals and birds were seen in the leak, which were related to some events in the world. Needless to say, the inclusion of wildlife in GTA 6 can only be confirmed after its release. But if it is indeed a part of that game, this feature will definitely help make its world seem real.

4) Multiplayer lobby limit

Given the success of GTA Online, many are interested to know how Rockstar will implement Grand Theft Auto 6’s multiplayer. Although not much is known about it yet, leaked footage from September 2022 showed two players in an online lobby with a max limit of 32.

However, it appears that there can only be 30 active players at a time, and two spots are reserved for spectators. This is also the case with GTA Online, even on next-gen consoles. While gamers are waiting for the upcoming title, they can make a lot of money in GTA Online by using the Money Glitch.

5) Hair growth

Leaked footage has revealed that the game may feature a pair of male and female lead characters, reportedly named Jason and Lucia respectively. Interestingly, Jason’s appearance in the leaked clip was different, especially in terms of the hair growing on his head and face. This suggests that the game may feature natural child growth, as seen in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Although this may be due to changes to Jason’s character model during development, players have come to expect the title to have such intricate details. Nevertheless, Rockstar Games has not yet confirmed the price, release date, and other details of GTA 6.
