BJP leader Swaindu Adhikari also reacted to the incident and accused the TMC-led West Bengal government of trying to derail the BJP.
Taking X, Adhikari said, “TMC goons opened fire on the vehicle of prominent BJP leader Priyangu Pandey in Bhatpara. The driver of the vehicle was shot dead.”

“This is how Mamata Banerjee and TMC are trying to get BJP off the streets. The bandh was successful and people supported it wholeheartedly. The poisonous cocktail of police and TMC goons won't be able to intimidate the BJP,” he added.
