She was clinging to one man's hand and dangling from the edge of a building's roof, while another filmed her. This is not the scene from 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' where Gwen Stacy falls from the building and Peter Parker tries to save her. This is from Pune.
Two people performed a stunt for an Instagram reel to test their “grip strength.” Emma Stone, who played 'Gwen Stacy' in 'Amazing Spider-Man 2', wore a safety harness to perform the stunt, the woman in the rail just held the man's hand and he was off the ground. It was hanging for about 100 feet.
The identities of the man and woman and the other people involved in the stunt are unknown.
The incident took place near Pune's Swaminarayan Temple where two men risked their lives for views on Instagram. There was a multi-camera setup for the reel – one person on the roof was seen filming it, while another person shot video from the ground.
A third camera person leaned slightly over the edge to film it. No safety precautions were taken by anyone in the video while performing the stunt.
The rail triggered a backlash on social media, with users calling it reckless, unnecessary and pointless and risking their lives for such a move.
This video is now viral on social media. People have demanded action against the creators of the content. No complaint was registered.
