A person has been arrested for inhumane acts in Arria, Bihar.

In a shocking example of vigilante justice in Bihar's Arria, a group of people tied the hands of a man accused of theft, took off his pants and poured chilli powder in his private parts. The video of the torture was recorded on a phone and the video went viral on social media. Police terming the act as “inhumane”, one person has been arrested.

The chilling video shows the victim with his hands tied and pants down. It is tilted like a person putting chili powder in their private parts. Adding to the cruelty, a pen is used to ensure that chili powder enters her private parts. In the video, the victim can be heard begging for mercy, asking him to bend down more. He screams in pain, begging his tormentors to stop. But they are not done yet and then another round of adding chili powder begins.

Several people have been seen fighting with each other to shoot torture with their phones. The victim is accused of stealing vehicles. At one point, a voice suggested calling the police. But many voices disagree, saying that 'the police let them go'.

In a post on X, Arria police said, “This inhumane act has been done to the accused of theft. One person who committed this act has been arrested. Action is being taken against others.”

The main opposition RJD targeted the Nitish Kumar-led JDU-BJP government over the incident, saying it was “worse than the Taliban”.

“This is Nitish Kumar-BJP's Mahagandaraj-Mahajangliraj. It is worse than Taliban. Chief Minister is not in his senses. Bihar is getting killed every day,” RJD said in a post on X. RJD said in a post on X.
