The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) announced the measures under this amendment on Tuesday. Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) It will start from October 1.

As per GRAP, under Stage I – Poor air quality (AQI between 201-300), measures to ensure proper implementation of guidelines on dust abatement measures in Construction and Demolition (C&D) activities and Ensuring environmental management of C&D waste includes ensuring regular collection. Actions under Phase II of GRAP will be taken at least three days before the AQI reaches the expected level of 301-400. These measures include mechanical/vacuum sweeping and water spraying on identified roads on a daily basis, ensuring focused and targeted action to reduce air pollution in all identified hotspots in NCR, critical sectors ( sectors) including expediting remedial measures.
