“The most ridiculous demand is that there are some chefs who take money Anurag said, “Is this food or bird feed? It costs 2 lakh rupees per day to prepare such food. Is this food or bird feed? It used to come in such a small quantity. I had some health issues. I only eat this.”
Anurag mentioned another incident when an actor demanded that his driver be sent to a five-star hotel to bring him a burger made with a special bread and vegan-free ingredients. The driver had to travel three hours back and forth from the remote location. Anurag joked that by the time the burger reached the actor, it would have gone cold.
He said, “It is the fault of the producers and their agents. I don't know why producers allow this to happen on their sets. It doesn't happen on my set.” Anurag said that hair and makeup artists also take money 75,000 per day, much more than technicians. He said that if he were a hair and makeup artist, he would be far richer.

Anurag's longtime collaborator Nawazuddin Siddiqui too echoed his sentiment. Nawazuddin said, “Actors have a lot of unnecessary demands, they want everything fabulous. I have even heard that some actors have five vanity vans – one for gymming, one for cooking, one for eating, bathing, practising dialogues and a lot more. This is madness. Someone crazy must be the one who drives around with five vanity vans.”
Anurag will next be seen as the villain in the Disney+ Hotstar series Bad Cop. He is also gearing up for the release of his long-pending film Kennedy.
