The iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch in early 2025 and unlike the iPhone 15 series, the model is tipped to support Apple Intelligence features
The big iPhone 16 launches have been done this year, but Apple still has a chance to introduce one more big product before 2024 is over. However, the focus is now on the iPhone 17 flagship series and yes, another iPhone that could be announced much before that.
We are talking about the iPhone SE 4 model, which is likely to be launched in early 2025 and is also expected to be powered by the A17 Pro or the new A18 chipset to drive Apple intelligence features. You will also see the new look Siri glow on the screen and give you smart responses. Many expected the iPhone SE 4 model to be a part of the iPhone 16 launch event, but we didn't think so and there were good reasons for it.
As we all know, Apple's performance was not good due to low sales of iPhone models at the beginning of the year. Therefore, launching the iPhone SE 4 in early 2025 will give it more benefits, and the margins from the sales of iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models will not decrease.
It has also been confirmed that the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models will not have AI features. So, if the design rumors are true, the demand for the cheaper iPhone SE 4 model may be higher than usual.
The iPhone SE 4 or the 2025 model could feature a modern design with a wide notch and possibly Face ID support. In fact, reports say that Apple could offer the device in an iPhone 14-like design which will surely appeal to many iPhone users.
The device might feature a 48MP main camera which would be a huge upgrade over the 8MP unit. The iPhone SE 4 might come with 6GB of RAM and might also support USB C for charging which is now a given for all Apple devices in the market. We might also see the iPhone SE name switch to an OLED panel, which would be a huge upgrade.
There is a demand for big changes in the iPhone SE version and we can see Apple fulfilling these wishes in a grand way next year. However, these upgrades will affect the starting price of the SE model and we expect it to be in the range of Rs 60,000 when it is launched in the market, which is Rs 25,000 less than the price of the regular iPhone 16 in the market.
