As expected, Jarvis Landry participates in Jaguars rookie minicamp

Jarvis Landry wants to come back.

After not playing in 2023, the former Pro Bowl receiver is attending rookie minicamp with the Jaguars.

Is Landry willing to endure a disappointing year to make his last appearance in football with the Saints in 2022?

,The competitor inside me says no,” Landry said, via Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com. “But then again, whatever. Whatever God has in His hands, His cards, I just work with that.”

The first step is for the Jaguars to do enough to land Landry a spot on the 90-man roster. Then, his job becomes to make it to the final 53.

In 2022, Landry appeared in nine games with 25 catches for 272 yards and one touchdown.

Selected in the second round of the Dolphins in 2014, Landry was spectacular from 2014 to 2019. His production began to decline in 2020. There was a big decline in it in 2021.

Landry spent from 2014 to 2017 with the Dolphins and from 2018 to 2021 with the Browns. He is a five-time Pro Bowler.

If things work out for Landry in Jacksonville or elsewhere, great. If not, at least it gives him some closure.
