More chilling allegations were leveled Tuesday against a trio of luxury real estate agent brothers, one of whom brokered the world's most expensive residential transaction for Ken Griffin in 2019.
In a shocking lawsuit filed in Manhattan, a woman alleges she was raped by Tal and Alan Alexander in 2012, “in a coordinated sexual assault that was planned and facilitated by their other brother, Oren, who allegedly sat silently and watched.”
While multiple women have sued Allen and Oren Alexander for sexual assault, and more than 30 women have reportedly come forward, the suit filed Tuesday by Angelica Parker is the first to name all three brothers.
“Today’s lawsuit is intended to send the message that the law applies to very wealthy and well-connected people, including Alexander,” Parker’s attorney Michael Willemin said in a statement to The Daily Beast. “We applaud Angelica for her bravery in coming forward, as we have no doubt that Alexander will assemble an army of PR representatives and private investigators to launch a campaign to shame victims.”
However, the lawsuit Tuesday isn't the only allegation against twins Alan and Oren Alexander. A report has revealed several other allegations dating back two decades. The Wall Street Journal,The article comes a week after Alexander, 37, stepped down from the real estate company he co-founded after two lawsuits accused him of “heinous” acts of sexual assault that were “abhorrent and intolerable in civilized society.”
A source close to Parker’s legal team told The Daily Beast that Tal reportedly sent an email to colleagues on Sunday that read, “I have no doubt that given my close relationship with my brothers, at some point, a lawyer, or several lawyers, will try to implicate me in the allegations against Alan and Oren.”
The source added, “When she made this statement, Tal already knew Ms. Parker intended to file this suit, and her statement was nothing more than a public relations stunt designed to get her out ahead of today's trial.”
The lawsuit alleges that Parker first met Oren Alexander in 2012 and the two had a brief relationship. One evening at Oren's New York apartment, Oren and Allen allegedly asked Parker and her friend if they would like to take ecstasy. When they declined, Allen gave the women drinks and then began “hitting” on Parker's friend and “touching her,” the lawsuit states.
Feeling uncomfortable, the friend reportedly left the apartment — but remained on the building's steps before becoming concerned for Parker's safety. Inside the apartment, however, the lawsuit states Parker was raped by Allen and Tal Alexander “despite her very clear verbal protests.” After this, the lawsuit states Parker successfully fled the apartment.
“In the years following the rape, Ms. Parker frequently met with the Alexander brothers, as they had many mutual friends and acquaintances,” the lawsuit states. “During this time, the Alexander brothers made numerous derogatory remarks about Ms. Parker, inadvertently telling her friends that he had had sex with her, of course without informing her that the entire incident had been a planned gang rape.”
Several years later, while Parker was alone in a guest room at another home, Tal “attacked” her and attempted to attack her, but she was able to scream at him and he allegedly relented, the lawsuit says.
“Tal coined a nickname for Ms. Parker, ‘King Rat,’ because she kicked him out of the house that night,” the lawsuit further states.
Parker's allegations of abuse match those of five women who spoke to police. magazineSome allege that Oren Alexander's history of sexual assault goes back to high school. In one recent incident, an aspiring model said Oren Alexander raped her inside his New York City apartment in 2017 after he asked her to put on virtual-reality goggles.
The woman, who has not been named, said she put on the glasses and a short time later her clothes were “ripped off”. The woman, who is partially disabled because of the glasses, alleged that Oren Alexander began raping her even though she was “crying and begging him to stop.”
Another woman spoke to us. magazine She described herself as a real estate agent from Miami who worked in the same illustrious groups as Oren and Alan Alexander.
The realtor told the newspaper she was hanging out with Oren Alexander at a Miami nightclub in 2017 the night he was allegedly attacked. She said she went to his house later that evening, where she drank a drink he poured.
The woman said that after some time she and Oren Alexander became consensually intimate, but when they went to the bedroom, she began to feel nauseous. As she felt dizzy and had blurred vision, she said she told Oren Alexander that she did not want to have sex and that she wanted to drink and sleep.
The woman said that Oren Alexander was not up for it, however, adding that magazine She said that instead he pushed himself on top of her and raped her. She said she did not tell police about the incident because she feared her account would not be believed since she had willingly gone home with Oren Alexander.
A third woman who spoke to us magazine Alleged that Oren Alexander raped her 20 years ago when they were both in high school. The woman said she and other girls were invited to Oren Alexander's house for a party, but when they got there, there were only five people there – Alexander's three brothers and two of their friends.
The woman, who requested anonymity, told the newspaper that the brothers gave the girls alcohol and separated them from each other before raping them.
These accounts have added to the already shocking number of rape allegations that Alexander is concerned about. Over the weekend, an insider alleged that Page Six Alexander would carry cocaine with him to parties and give it to women before taking them to bed.
The sexual assault lawsuits against Alexander and his brother detail the same pattern, Insider reported. One of the women claimed that in 2010, when she was 18, the brothers lured her home and raped her after spiking her drink.
Oren Alexander has vehemently denied any wrongdoing, calling the lawsuits against him nothing more than “baseless civil allegations.”
“I am confident that the truth will come out through a review of the extensive evidence, including text messages and other communications,” he wrote in a statement to Instagram last week.
when contacted magazine Following the flurry of new allegations, the newspaper reported that the Alexander brothers' attorney, Isabel Kirshner, declined to comment. Instead, she reportedly shared a statement about the lawsuits they are facing.
“Our initial investigation into the claims has revealed clear and irrefutable evidence that proves the Alexanders right, which we look forward to presenting in court,” he wrote. He did not immediately respond to The Daily Beast’s request for comment.
