BJP cannot see backward class leaders rising politically: K Kavita

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavita on Tuesday, September 26, alleged that Telangana Governor Tamalai Soundararajan had blocked the state cabinet’s nomination of BRS leaders Dasoju Shravan and K Satyanarayana under the Governor Legislative Council. By rejecting the proposal, the spirit of federalism has been violated. .

Pointing out that both the leaders are from backward classes, Kavita said the Governor’s action has once again proved that the BJP is an anti-BC party.

Kavita, a member of the Telangana Legislative Council, said that the behavior of some state governors raises doubts whether the country is running on the basis of the Constitution of India or the Constitution of the BJP.

“Every constitutional authority has its rights and limitations and they work accordingly to take all the people with them but it is unfortunate that the governor has gone against these traditions,” he said.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter said that both the names sent by BRS for nomination to the council are from backward sections of society.

He said that the CM had sent the names of the two leaders who could not win the direct election, so that they would get a political chance. By rejecting these names, the Governor has once again proved that BJP is an anti-POBC party.
