“Bihar will not accept the RJD and Indian alliance which destroyed the state,” the Modi government minister added.

Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary also echoed the advice of former Bihar Chief Minister Prasad to rest. “He (Lalu Prasad Yadav) is the former chief minister of Bihar, I would advise him to take some rest. BJP alone has 240 seats (in the Lok Sabha), while its allies have 293 seats. However, they won only four seats,” said Chaudhry.

Lalu Yadav urged party workers to be prepared for possible political changes, saying that despite setbacks, the RJD has increased its seats and vote share in recent elections.

“For some time, we have been the single largest party in the Bihar Assembly. Unlike many others, we have never compromised on ideology,” Prasad said, recalling his tenure and achievements, including in the 1990s. Including the arrest of Lal Krishna Advani.
