Week 2 Dancing with the Stars gave fans plenty of entertainment, from Jane Tran's musical mishap to Anna Delvey's shocked reaction to her elimination – but there's also plenty more you didn't see.
PEOPLE was in an elaborate ballroom for the taping, where a hair and makeup station, a rehearsal warm-up area and a press tent were set up backstage.
This is where we saw Brooks Nader and his (dancing) partner Gleb Savchenko boldly displaying PDA backstage. They couldn't keep their hands off each other, he was tickling her from behind and grabbing her waist backstage while they waited to speak to the press.
Constantly calling each other “babe”, Nader had his arm around Savchenko's neck and his hand on her stomach throughout the night, and the two secretly kissed each other while rehearsing before their performance in the evening. Even while getting makeup touch-ups, the budding duo held hands.
Still, she cast doubt on the rumors, with Savchenko telling PEOPLE exclusively that after spending so much time together, “we're very up close and personal and she seems to be the same, and we've developed that chemistry.”
It was also a night in the spotlight for Anna Delvey, who we saw pushing back the curtain backstage with a huge smile on her face, and finding her phone to make multiple calls to share the news of her elimination.
He had just been eliminated, and in a shocking moment he told co-host Julianne Hough that he gained “nothing” from the show.
When the rest of the stars and professional cast came on stage, Delvey hugged her castmates goodbye. Tori Spelling, who was also eliminated, gave Delvey a tight hug before Delvey and partner Ezra Sosa discussed their elimination.
Sousa appeared to comfort Delvey by placing his hand on her shoulder, but she kept smiling and fixing her hair in a mirror nearby. He later climbed the stage steps and posed for photos of himself with the set.
Phaedra Parks' family greeted her with a standing ovation, and Riley Arnold and Stephen Nedorowczyk put their feet up, eating snacks and laughing at the makeup stand.
In the ballroom, Jonathan Johnson waited for his former partner. The Bachelorette Jen took photos of Kelsey Anderson, who was there to support her fiancé and ex Unmarried Joey Graziadei.
When Tran joined the press line, Johnson went up to the ballroom's balcony to take pictures of her and then came down and waited at the exit the entire time.
Daisy Kent, who was in the top two with Kelsey on season 28 the Bachelor, She was also there to support her ex-husband, sitting a few rows back from Jonathan so she wouldn't be caught on camera, as Jonathan was earlier in the week.
Another member of the franchise, Golden Bachelorette Joan Vasos sat in the audience but went out after a few moments to greet some stars seated behind the stage.
Backstage, Tran and her dance partner, Sasha Farber, were joking around, whispering in each other’s ears and sharing a secret handshake, which they showed off to the crowd during our interview.
Reginald VelJohnson was spotted making a TikTok after the show with his partner Emma Slater, who revealed she was the first person to show him the app.
