Capito delivers commencement address at Bethany College

Bethany, W.Va. – Today, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) in Bethany, W.Va. Traveled to Washington, D.C., where he delivered the commencement address for the Bethany College Spring 2024 graduation ceremony. Additionally, Senator Capito received an Honorary Doctorate of Education from Bethany College from Bethany President Dr. Jamie Caridi. Bethany College, founded in 1840, is the oldest institution of higher education in the state of West Virginia.

“For many of Bethany's graduates, the COVID-19 pandemic drastically changed their graduation from high school four years ago, and I'm thrilled they can attend today's ceremony – in person – with their loved ones.
