CHICAGO (WLS) — Emergency crews are on the scene of a massive fire that broke out in Chicago's West Town neighborhood Tuesday evening.
The fire, which could be seen from ABC7 Chicago's Willis Tower cameras, is at a pallet yard in the 2000 block of West Hubbard Street.

Chopper 7 arrived on the scene at around 6.30pm and firefighters could be seen pouring water on the large flames, while black smoke billowed into the air.
Chicago fire officials said on X (formerly known as Twitter) that no injuries had been reported as of 7 p.m.
Neither the Chicago Fire Department nor Chicago police immediately provided information about what started the fire.
The massive fire in West Town was visible from downtown Chicago on Tuesday.

Metra said incoming and outgoing Union Pacific West trains were halted because of the fire. The fire is near the tracks near Western Avenue.
The commuter rail agency said significant delays are expected, and riders are encouraged to use alternate transportation.
