According to the police, after receiving a PCR call regarding suicide on Monday, IOPS Dwarka North along with personnel reached the crime scene i.e. CISF Camp, Dwarka Section-16, Delhi where a person was hanged from a tree. Found hanging with plastic. The rope was later identified as Ct. Shiva Prabhu.

The 27-year-old hailed from Madurai in Tamil Nadu and was posted as a constable in the CISF metro unit, police said.

The crime team inspected the crime scene as required. Police said that investigation is on and SDM Dwarka has also been informed.

No foul play has come to light yet. The body has been preserved at DDU Hospital, Harinagar, Delhi for post-mortem.
