Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday slammed the Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and Sharad Pawar's NCP (SC), accusing the trio of vote bank politics.

In his twin rallies in Maharashtra's Dhule and Palghar, Shah criticized the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance in the state over the Ram temple consecration ceremony, saying, “I have never seen such an atmosphere of devotion in my life. Shah also attacked Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole for his pledge to 'purify the Ram temple'. “Just two days ago, the Maharashtra Congress president made a statement saying that if he comes to power, he will clean the Ram temple. 'Can Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar become PM?': Amit Shah

The Union Home Minister hit out at the India Bloc, saying that the opposition alliance partners' job is only to abuse Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Shah continued his attacks on Thackeray, accusing the former Maharashtra chief minister of abandoning ideology for power.

“Congress leaders are supporting terrorists in Kosovo. I ask Uddhav Thackeray if he is on the same page with the Congress leaders. He should answer to the people of Maharashtra. Uddhav Thackeray has to answer whether he is with the Congress in its drive to reintroduce the Muslim Personal Law,'' the minister said.
