New Delhi: Manipur Chief Minister N Baran Singh on Monday said the recent arrest of a Burmese cadre of the Kuki National Army vindicates his claim that the ongoing crisis in the state has been fueled by outsiders.
Appreciating the Assam Rifles On the arrest of a Burmese national at the international border, Singh said, “I appreciate the actions of the Assam Rifles, which has arrested a Burmese national. As Chief Minister, I have consistently maintained from the beginning that Manipur Because of the current crisis, for foreigners, but some people believe, some don't.”
“But I appreciate the Assam Rifles, which arrested a foreign national with evidence of supplying weapons to militants active in Manipur,” he added.

Meanwhile, the government has canceled the temporary suspension of internet services in the territorial jurisdiction of Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Bishnopur and Kakching districts.
An order issued by the Home Department said, “The State Government has decided to remove any form of internet suspension in the state of Manipur as a precautionary measure in public interest in good faith. was implemented.”
A temporary suspension of internet services was imposed in 5 districts from 3 pm on September 10 as students protested demanding the removal of the DGP and security adviser for their alleged failure to deal with militant attacks. was. The protests led to clashes with security forces, injuring more than 80 people, including students and police personnel.
The order also urges all internet users to refrain from activities that could lead to situations warranting suspension of internet services in the future.
