Cristiano Ronaldo has opened up about his retirement plans, hinting at which club will be the last of his career

Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed his retirement plans, saying Al Nasr will likely be the last club of his career.

Speaking in an interview with Portuguese outlet Now, the 39-year-old Portuguese star hinted that he is not considering an early retirement despite his contract with the Saudi club expiring at the end of the season.

Ronaldo, who turns 40 in February, said: 'I don't know if I'll retire soon, in two or three years… but maybe I'll retire here at Al-Nasr.'

“I am very happy at this club, I also like this country. I am happy playing in Saudi Arabia and I want to continue.' He added.

Asked when the time would come to hang up his international boots, Ronaldo said: 'I won't tell anyone in advance when I leave the national team.

'It will be a very spontaneous decision on my part, but it will also be a very thoughtful decision.

'At the moment, I am not thinking about becoming a first team coach or any team.

'It doesn't even cross my mind, I never thought about it. I don't see my future going through this.

Ronaldo joined the Saudi club in January 2023, following his departure from Manchester United, on a £175-million-a-year deal.
