Las Vegas Raiders wideout Davante Adams has some extra motivation heading into Week 5. Adams, who was waived by the Green Bay Packers ahead of the 2022 season, will face his former team for the first time on Monday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Adams developed into arguably the best receiver in the NFL with the Packers. He didn’t lose any of his ability when he was traded to the Raiders, and continues to be a major threat whenever he takes the field.

The Packers have undoubtedly missed Adams’ presence. He is not a player who can be replaced easily. Instead of spending in free agency, the Packers are trying to develop a young receiver to eventually develop into the No. 1 role. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed have all had moments of electric play, though Adams still needs a lot of development to come close.
