The victim, who is a UPSC aspirant, used to hand over the house keys to her landlord whenever she went back to her hometown.

In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old man was arrested by the Delhi Police for allegedly spying on his tenant in his bedroom and bathroom in his home town.

A total of three spy cameras and two laptops have been recovered from the accused, who has been identified as Kiran. According to sources, the victim, who is a UPSC aspirant, used to give house keys to her landlord whenever she went back to her hometown.

The incident unfolded when the accused started pressurizing the victim to enter the house on the pretext of repairing electricity so that he could get data from the spy cameras. Notably, the cameras were not connected to a network and the data was stored in a memory card.

After the landlord's insistence, the victim became suspicious and checked her home where she found a camera installed in her bulb holder.

After discovering the presence of cameras in her house, the victim lodged a complaint with the police and the police started investigating the matter.
