Ghaziabad: Security has been beefed up in the city due to Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar's visit to attend the Golden Jubilee function at Central Electronics Limited in Sahibabad on Wednesday. Prohibitory orders under Section 144 will be imposed in the city and traffic is likely to be diverted, officials said. Police have taken precautionary measures and declared a no-fly zone, officials said. This order will remain in force till June 26. Thousands of police personnel have also been deployed in the area. Any kind of drone/ UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)/ Paraglider/ Hot Air Balloon/ other flying objects etc. is strictly prohibited. A person must obtain permission from the police to use a drone. Normal traffic will be affected from UP Gate to Dabar Teraha, Sahibabad RRTS, and Sur Arja Marg on June 26 from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. Movement of all heavy and commercial vehicles from UP Gate to Dabar Teraha, Sahibabad RRTS and Sur Arja Marg will be completely restricted from 2 PM till the end of the programme.
