Hippo Ram, a resident of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, has been involved in drug trade for the past eight years. He served in the Army before retiring in 2000. According to the police, he has previous cases under the NDPS Act in Rajasthan and MP, where he is wanted.
“We received information that the two accused were traveling from Jodhpur to Delhi via Rewari in AC coach B4 of Salasar Express. The Crime Unit from Rohtak reached the spot and found Hippo Ram in a black car with around 4.4 kg of drugs. The bag was found to be carrying. The crime unit seized the drugs and arrested the accused on the spot,” OP Singh added.
