Liverpool forward Diogo Jota asked the EA FC 24 team about their plans to add their new celebration to the game. Following the Reds’ win against West Ham, the EA FC team reacted on the X.

EA FC 24 offers football fans many different ways to celebrate after a goal. And if social media is any indication, there’s another one on the way.

EA Sports FC’s official X account responded to Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota after he debuted a new celebration last weekend.

The EA Sports team reacts after Jota’s goal celebration

On 24 September, Liverpool forward Diogo Jota scored his second goal of his 2023–24 Premier League campaign in a 2–0 away win against West Ham United.

After the game, the 26-year-old celebrated the win on X (formerly known as Twitter). He also highlighted his new celebration – a triangle symbol created with his hands, and one that looks similar to the shape of the FC logo – and asked EA Sports FC’s official X account when it would be added to the game.

In response, EA Sports FC account Tweeted emoji of two eyes staring at a triangle,

It’s no surprise to see Jota mention EA Sports FC, as the Liverpool forward has become a huge figure in the FIFA/FC community in recent years thanks to his skills in the game.

Jota has been undefeated in Football Ultimate Team’s competitive weekend league on several occasions, and has stated on record how much of an “obsession” video games such as FIFA/FC have become for him over the years.
