'Edited videos shown, pen drive': Mamata Banerjee attacks Governor

Mr Bose has accused the Trinamool Congress chief of “playing dirty politics”.

Stepping up her attack on sexual harassment allegations against Governor CV Anand Bose, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that she would meet him on the streets if she wanted, but not to Raj Bhavan. That are sitting together. That would be “sin”.

Referring to the screening of CCTV footage from the day a temporary Raj Bhavan employee lodged a written complaint with the police against the governor on Thursday, the Trinamool Congress chief alleged that it had been edited. He said he has a pen drive with the entire footage as well as more videos.

After the allegations were leveled, Mr Bose taunted Ms Banerjee by using her popular name 'Didi' and said: “Didigiri”“(A play in progress. 'grandfathering'which means bullying or bossing around) won't work.

Addressing a rally in Hooghly on Saturday, the chief minister said in a mix of Hindi and Bengali, “Honorable Governor, what is my fault? I don't even know what the whole incident is.” They said. Speaking after the allegations surfaced, Mr Bose targeted Ms Banerjee and accused her of playing “dirty politics”.

“I have always maintained that her politics is not my cup of tea and I refuse to comment on it, now because of the derogatory remarks against me I am compelled to tell you that Mamata Banerjee's Politics is dirty, I will pray to God to save it, but it is difficult even for God, I will never accept it. 'Didigiri' on the honorable office of the Governor,” he had said on Monday.

Mr Bose had also denied the allegations of sexual harassment and called them part of an “engineered narrative”.
