Elon Musk’s COVID-19 vaccine comments go viral

A tweet from Elon Musk about the COVID-19 vaccine has gone viral after he posted about “disinformation”.

The Tesla CEO shared a collection of news headlines on X, formerly Twitter, which he also owns, saying that various vaccines for the virus were “100% effective.”

“Have you heard this information?” Musk captioned the tweet on Tuesday.

But political journalist Ed Krassenstein questioned the billionaire.

“I think the change in efficacy is a result of new strains and the vaccine becoming less immune. It’s silly that anyone ever claimed it was 100% effective. No vaccine is 100% fool-proof,” Krassenstein replied.

Musk’s tweet on Krasenstein’s comment then went viral and was viewed 3.2 million times.

“My concern was more about this outrageous demand that people must take the vaccine and multiple boosters to do anything. This is messed up,” Musk wrote.

“Unless the Supreme Court invalidated Biden’s executive order, SpaceX and many other companies would have been forced to fire anyone who refused to be vaccinated! We would not have done that. “I would rather go to jail than fire someone who didn’t want to get vaccinated.” Stabbing.”

Musk added: “As far as I’m concerned, I basically had COVID (mild cold symptoms) before the vaccine came out and I had to get three shots to travel. The third shot almost sent me to the hospital Granted. How many other people out there have symptoms that are actually from the vaccine or COVID treatment, and not from COVID itself?

“For those who did not take any vaccine, it is okay [Novak Djokovic] Just won a record number of Grand Slams… It’s not that I don’t believe in vaccines – I do. However, the cure cannot potentially be worse than the disease.”

Musk said that “the public debate on efficacy should not be shut down.”

“There is also great potential to cure many diseases using synthetic mRNA, so let’s not throw the baby out with the bathwater.”

Musk has often spoken out about Covid vaccine mandates, but he came under criticism after NBA star LeBron James’ son suffered a cardiac arrest in July.

Bronny James, 18, also a basketball player, was taken to the hospital, which his family said in a statement was the result of a “functionally significant congenital heart defect.”

“We can’t attribute everything to the vaccine, but, equally, we can’t attribute everything to anything,” Musk tweeted, “Myocarditis is a known side effect. The only question is whether it is rare or common.”

Dr. Matthew Martinez, director of sports cardiology at Atlantic Health System in New Jersey, told CNN in response to Musk’s tweet: “Myocarditis is certainly a cause of sudden death in young athletes, but it’s not a common risk.”

British Medical Journal The research found that male adolescents and young adults are at the highest risk of myocarditis after receiving mRNA COVID vaccinations, such as those produced by Pfizer or Moderna, with an estimated 140 cases per million people among the group. The prevalence of this condition is believed to be lower than in other categories.
