Former England manager Glenn Hoddle has insisted Chelsea should not have sacked Thomas Tuchel in the past.
According to him, the Blues would be in a better position now if they had stuck with Tuchel as their head coach.
Recall that Tuchel, who will become England manager next year, was sacked by Chelsea in September 2022 due to poor form.
Chelsea co-owner Todd Buhly then replaced the German with Graham Potter.
“I love it,” Hoddle said on the overlap via Sky Bet. “I've spent a little bit of time with him and done a few interviews with him and talked to him afterwards. I like him.
“Look at what he did at Chelsea and what happened to them after he left… He won the Champions League there.
“It should still be there and they'll be in better shape.”
