Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has named 2 coaches who could leave the club after announcing the sacking of Erik ten Hague on Monday.
The Daily Post reported that ten Hague was sacked after recording just four wins in as many games as the Red Devils played this season.
Scholes told TNT Sports that his former club should now pursue Xavi Hernandez and Zinedine Zidane.
“Manchester United is the biggest club in the world, so they need the best of the best. If they think Xavi is that man, it's a risk.
“But he is organized at an elite level with a club similar to Manchester United in Spain and Barcelona.
“They won the league against Carlo Ancelotti. [Real Madrid] team in tough situations, so I wouldn't be against that.
“Zinedine Zidane is very successful at Real Madrid. Whether he wants to come to England, I doubt it very much.
“He's another name, and then you think of Ruben Amorim at Sporting Lisbon.”
