The Reds are back in action at Old Trafford, looking to build on the competition they won in 2022/23, and the manager is considering his selection based on the weekend's win at Southampton, with another game to come against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
A few minor concerns were raised after the 3-0 win at St Mary's Stadium but Ten Hag insists those with question marks are fine, leaving him with a big squad to choose from.
“They are all available,” he said of Noussair Mazrawi, Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez. “They are good.
“I expected I would have a headache, because I had a headache last year too, but there were no players available.
“So, I hope I will have a number of players available and we will be able to make game-by-game selections. Of course, we will have to rotate players because we have to cover a lot of games and so it is not just about the starting XI.”
Manuel Ugarte made his debut from the bench and could make his first appearance at Old Trafford against the League One side.
