One of the busiest Galaxy Unpacked events in a long time is set to take place in Paris in about three weeks. Samsung will introduce two new foldables, two wireless earbuds, two smartwatches, and its first-generation smart ring at the event, and some of the products may be available for pre-reservation as early as June 26.
For smartwatch lovers, Samsung is adding the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra to its group of Wear OS-powered watches. And it appears the company is pushing it even further with all the certifications needed to start selling the new devices.
The Galaxy Watch 7 3C certification contradicts the information obtained from its FCC certification
This week, Samsung was granted compulsory certification (3C) in China. As usual, 3C has some charging information for upcoming devices, and this information is contrary to what the FCC has revealed.
The FCC has listed the Galaxy Watch 7 with 15W charging support, while the 3C tests were conducted using a 10W charger. This doesn't mean the FCC was wrong. Rather, it suggests that the 15W charger could be an optional purchase and the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra will come with the old 10W charger in the box.
We'll have to wait for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra to go official to find out what charger comes in the box. In the meantime, check out the video below to learn about some of the cool features of the Samsung ecosystem.
