“The group used fake documents like fake Aadhaar cards, stamps and other materials to get the accused released from jail after being granted bail by the court. They used to provide sureties or act as sureties in these cases. “The accused used to pay them in return. The men used this method in many cases and got at least five people released from the district,” said a police officer.

The officer added that the group was active for the past five months.

According to the FIR, Bal Kishan, a resident of Charadi village of Loni police station area, has said in his complaint that on Monday morning at around 1:30 a.m., Mudsam alias Mujasjar tried to enter his house with the intention of stealing, but he was killed by Kishan. caught. family members. He further alleged that the accused beat him up after being caught.

The police arrested Mudsam and an FIR was registered under BNS Sections 115 (2) (causing hurt) and 305 (burglary in residential house, etc.).

As of 5 pm, the Ghaziabad police had registered 8 FIRs under the IPC because the offenses had taken place on or before Sunday, when the old penal code was still in force, and 8 under the BNS.
