Google Pixel 8 Pro leak suggests free Pixel Watch 2 with pre-order

Google’s answer on iPhone 15 is coming: Tech giant suddenly Updated your Google Store site Details about its upcoming flagship smartphones, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, were leaked online this week, along with promo videos that showed off details about the new phones. And even better: A promo photo leaked on Monday also shows Google may offer a free Pixel Watch 2 If you pre-order Pixel 8 Pro.

The Google Store landing page reads, “Arriving 10/4.” “Warmly coming. Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.”

Both phones are briefly shown off in a Pixel 8 video on the store site. In both videos and images on the Google Store site, the Pixel 8 appears to be a blush-colored handset with a rose gold camera casing. Pixel 8 Pro has been introduced in nude color with champagne gold camera strip.

“Meet the new Pixel phones, featuring the most advanced Pixel cameras ever, and Google AI to help you get things done even faster,” the page says.

Some details focus on the use of artificial intelligence, including the (not new) photo-editing tools Magic Eraser and Photo Unblur, as well as Live Translate. A leaked promo video for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro has also revealed more AI features for the cameras, like video boost and audio erase.

The Google Store also added photos and teased details on the upcoming Pixel Watch 2, saying the smartwatch will launch on October 4 and have “even more personalized assistance, security features, and health insights.” Google has further teased the next Pixel watch in another video.

A newly leaked promo video of the Pixel Watch 2 on Monday also showed how it uses Fitbit’s features which now include a skin temperature sensor, more accurate heart rate data, sleep tracking, and stress analysis. It will also have a feature called Safety Check, which will ping your emergency contact if you don’t “tap in” when the timer you set goes off.

The next Pixel Watch is being claimed to have a battery life of 24 hours.

Google previously announced a Pixel event on October 4, where it will launch its new phones and smartwatches. Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the promo video leak.
