Gujarat recorded 886.03 mm rainfall.


Gujarat has recorded a total of 886.03 mm of rainfall till Wednesday, which is 101.08% above the average monsoon expectations.

Different regions of Gujarat have experienced varying degrees of rainfall during this season, portraying contrasting weather conditions. Rain is still continuing in some parts of the state.

The total rainfall figures for prominent districts of Gujarat are as follows: Ahmedabad 71.71%, Surat 86.04%, Vadodara 77.93%, and Rajkot 120.82%.

158.73% rainfall has been received in Kutch region. Saurashtra followed closely behind with 119.68 per cent, while east-central Gujarat saw 96.11 per cent of its expected rainfall. The North Gujarat region is not far behind with 95.52 percent, and South Gujarat currently has 88.31 percent of the average monsoon rainfall.
