Gurgaon News: Gurugram Mall fined Rs 25,000 for not managing waste properly Gurugram News

After the inspection, a fine of 25 thousand rupees was imposed on the mall management present at the spot and instructions were issued to them to make waste management arrangements as soon as possible.

Gurugram: The Gurugram civic body has imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on him. RD Mall in Sector 52 for non-compliance Solid waste management rules. During the inspection, it was found that the waste generated by the mall was neither being segregated into different categories nor was there any waste disposal system in place.

Zone-III Joint Commissioner Vijay Yadav and Sanitation Inspector Jitender Kumar inspected the area on Sunday and found violations of Solid Waste Management Rules 2016 by the mall management. According to Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) authorities, as per the rules, the mall falls under the category of bulk waste generators and must dispose of the waste generated from its premises on its surface.

The team imposed a fine of Rs 25 thousand on the mall management on the spot and directed them to make waste management arrangements as soon as possible.
