Three NCR (National Capital Region) cities – Rohtak, Manesar, and Dharohra – were classified as green for recording an AQI below 100.
In Rohtak the number was exactly 100, followed by 99 in Manesar, and the lowest at 79, in Dharohra, while Gurugram tops the unfavorable table with an AQI of 296.
Anything above 300 is classified as extremely poor. Other cities with poor AQI include Sonepat (274), Kaithal (233), Bhiwani (231), Bahadurgarh (225), Faridabad (223), and Jund (205).
Cities and districts that recorded a moderate AQI include Panipat (187), Charkhi Dadri (186), Yamunanagar (179), Kurukshetra (170), Panchkula (165), Ambala (163), Hisar (159). ), including Mandikhera (153). Ballabgarh (133), Karnal (109), and Palwal (102).

Delhi's air quality index was recorded at an alarming 364 on October 23, prompting the National Green Tribunal to ask authorities to take action.
