A police spokesman confirmed that the Gurugram police arrested a drug dealer and recovered 2.681 kg of ganja from his possession.

Preliminary investigations have identified the arrested peddler as Sabhakanta Tiwari alias Pandit, a resident of Pati Sheetal village in Chapra district of Bihar.
SI Rajesh Kumar said that a criminal case has been registered under the relevant provisions of the NDPS Act at the Sadar police station here. The pedlar will be produced in a judicial court to seek police remand for further questioning, with the aim of tracing the source and intended recipients of the contraband.
