The bail order came around 6.30 pm and prisoners are not usually released from jail after 7 pm, so he is likely to be released from jail on Tuesday, police sources said.

Six conditions

Judge Santosh Gajnana Bhatt granted bail to Mr Revona with six conditions including two sureties and a bond of ₹ 5 lakh. Mr. Revona has been directed not to destroy evidence in the case, not to contact the victim directly or indirectly, not to enter R Nagar taluk of the victim's hometown, to cooperate with the SIT investigation and Appear before them whenever called. They have also been directed to submit their passports to the court and not to leave the state without the court's permission.

In a related development in the same case, the SIT has remanded another accused, Satish Babu, in custody for four more days. Three other accused Manu, Madhu and Sujay were sent to judicial custody on Monday.
