Heavy stockpiling at BPCL petrol pump in Ghat Kopar 10-15 admitted to Rajwadi Hospital (Video)

In a catastrophic turn of events, a huge tank collapsed on a BPCL petrol pump opposite the Adani project in Ghat Kopar, Pantnagar, Mumbai on Monday evening amid a rain and dust storm, resulting in a disaster. And the casualties continued.

According to reports, about 10-15 patients are admitted in Rajwadi Hospital.

According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade, the hoarding fell at around 16:30 hours today at the Police Ground Petrol Pump on the Eastern Express Highway, Ghat Cooper East.

Many people have been trapped as a result of the collapsing stockpile, prompting a search and rescue operation. Several agencies including MFB, police and 108 ambulance services have reached the spot and started rescue operations.

At 16:49 hrs, Rajwadi Hospital confirmed seven injured as a result of the incident.

BPCL petrol pump has been handed over to Railway Police and is the only petrol pump between Seon and Thane.
