“I have stepped out of my house to address you on 'Hil Diwas' for the first time since my release. This is a day of movement for all of us. Like the Santhal revolt against the British, we not only Jharkhand Rather declare a 'whole revolt' to oust 'feudal powers' from the entire country,'' Soren said at a rally, targeting the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.

Friday was the Executive President of JMM. Guaranteed by the Jharkhand High Court in connection with the alleged land mining racket in the state capital Ranchi. The High Court observed that 'there is reason to believe that the petitioner (Soren) is not guilty of the offense alleged.'

On January 31, then Jharkhand Chief Minister Soren was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate, the federal agency investigating money laundering charges against the former chief minister in the case. He resigned shortly before his arrest, and fellow JMM leader Champai Soren became the chief minister.

Meanwhile, further targeting the BJP, Hemant Soren accused the saffron party of 'trapping me in false cases'.

“The Center prepares its investigative agencies to harass those who raise their voice against it. I have only been out of jail for two days, but the BJP is worried. Its top leaders are repeatedly in the state. are coming and plotting against me again. However, we are a land of revolutionaries and are not afraid of jail, caning or hanging,” he asserted.

Jharkhand will hold elections in December to elect its next government. In the previous assembly elections, held in December 2019, the JMM-led alliance ousted the BJP from power.
