Hyderabad: Taking a jibe at BRS supremo Chandrasekhar Rao, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday said he was not a “farmhouse chief minister” and would go to the national capital to get the state's dues from the Centre. They have no ego to go.
Addressing a gathering after unfurling the national flag as part of the “Telangana Praja Palana Dinotsavam” (Celebration of People's Rule Day), Reddy said the Congress government has taken measures to rectify the financial situation and implement six electoral guarantees. “We are trying our best to get every single penny from the Centre. In this regard, I have been to Delhi many times and met the Union Ministers including the Prime Minister and submitted memoranda.
“My visits to Delhi are being criticized. I am not a farmhouse chief minister to do nothing at home. I am not going to Delhi for my personal work. Delhi is neither in Pakistan nor in Bangladesh. This is the capital of our country.” CM said.

Mentioning the state government's initiatives for youth and women, Reddy said that Telangana is moving ahead with a two-pronged strategy for youth development while also following strict measures to control and eliminate drugs. is being done.
He said that Telangana government is going to construct 54.50 lakh houses this year under “Andrama Housing Scheme” and will provide financial assistance of Rs.5 lakh for each house.
According to the CM, the Telangana government has provided 87 crore free bus rides, saving Rs 2,958 crore for women.
He reiterated that the government has established the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRA) to free the lakes from those who have illegally occupied them and said that the establishment of the agency There are no political motives behind, but only a determination.
