The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the schedule for India's 2024–25 home season, in which the team will play 16 matches, including two Tests against Bangladesh and three Tests against New Zealand that are part of the World Test Championship.
The Bangladesh team will tour India from 19 September to 12 October. The first Test will be played in Chennai, while the second Test will be held in Kanpur. After this, three T20 matches will be played in Dharamsala, Delhi and Hyderabad.
New Zealand's tour of India will begin with the first Test match in Bengaluru on October 16. The second Test will be played in Pune while the final Test will be played in Mumbai.
After touring Australia for a five-match Test series from November 2024 to January 2025, India will return home to host England for a limited-overs series consisting of five T20Is and three ODIs, to be played from January 22 to February 12. The T20Is will be played in Chennai, Kolkata, Rajkot, Pune and Mumbai. Nagpur, Cuttack and Ahmedabad will host the three ODIs.
