Body positive influencer Karina Irby was left humiliated on Monday when she was judged on the condition of her skin while getting a pedicure.

The 33-year-old bikini designer has opened up about her life-long battle with eczema, which has left her skin with blemishes and ‘white skin patches’.

In an emotional Instagram video, she said she now ‘feels great’ about her body and wants a pedicure – something she has previously avoided because of her skin.

Unfortunately, instead of boosting Kareena’s confidence, her bravery was met with criticism from her pedicurist.

‘I have lumps, bumps, scars, I think, I look different. But this woman looked at me like I was completely sick,’ the blonde beauty said in an emotional video.

In a heartbreaking Instagram video, Kareena described pedicure as one of the worst experiences of her life

Kareena said the woman had a disgusted expression on her face throughout the treatment and kept groping for ‘textured’ pieces of skin on her legs.

Describing the moment as ‘the worst pedicure experience of her life’, the influencer said she was ‘frustrated’ by the woman’s reaction to her feet.

She said, ‘I wanted the earth to open up and swallow me whole.’

She further said, ‘I couldn’t relax during the entire pedicure. I felt very uncomfortable. I was just watching him look at my skin… it’s just skin. I am not a walking disease.

Moments after posting the video, which she filmed in her car after getting a pedicure, Kareena shared a picture of herself with tears in her eyes.

‘Kindness is very easy. I really don’t understand it. Why are you working so vigorously and so carelessly? Being surrounded by people created a stir. over what? White spots on my skin?’ she wrote.

‘If you were so concerned, why don’t you ask in private? Why did you feel the need to make loud announcements and show big hands?’

Kareena said that throughout the treatment the woman had a disgusted expression on her face and kept touching the ‘textured’ parts of the skin on her legs.
In 2018, the Gold Coast native spoke about her experience with eczema and how she has dealt with it

Kareena is known for her body positivity posts and the empire she built by selling attractive bikinis.

However, in 2018, the Gold Coast native opened up about her experience with eczema and how she has dealt with it.

She said she was brutally bullied as a child for her skin condition and treated as if it was contagious, but now she is fighting to ‘normalise’ it.
