Jammu GMCH: Person moving suspiciously near LoC shot, shifted to Jammu GMCH | India News


Jammu: A person was seen going very close to Jammu suspiciously Line of Control (LoC) was fired on. The army in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Sunday. The suspect was later rescued and shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital in Jammu with bullet injuries.
The victim has been identified. Yasir HussainOfficial sources said that he is a resident of Karmara in Poonch.
“The army spotted some suspicious movement near a restricted area at Karmara in Gulpur sector of Poonch and challenged the suspect, who was injured in the ensuing firing. The army later searched the area and found him injured. Rescued in condition. He was shifted to Poonch District Hospital from where he was referred to GMC Rajouri. Later he was shifted. Jammu GMCH for special treatment,” said an official source.
Jammu GMCH sources said that the injured has been shifted to the operation theatre. Police said the investigation is on.
