Jio users are facing network disruptions in both mobile and broadband services. The disruption in services has been confirmed by Downdetector, a platform that tracks outages.
Downdetector recorded more than 10,000 complaints within an hour. According to the site, 67 percent of users complained about no signal, 20 percent faced problems with mobile internet and 14 percent had problems with Jio Fiber.
Jio offers broadband services through Jio Fiber and AirFiber plans – AirFiber is a premium plan. Downdetector shows that AirFiber service is also affected by the disruption.
The company has not yet confirmed the outage nor shared any details about the outage. Meanwhile, users on social media shared updates criticising the network with the hashtag #JioDown as customers expressed their displeasure over the service disruptions.
Users in Mumbai have been affected the most by the service disruption.
