JK Assembly Elections: BJP announces candidates for 29 seats.


Srinagar, August 27: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday announced its candidates for 29 seats in Jammu and Kashmir for the upcoming general elections to the Legislative Assembly.

According to the party's official list, Ashok Bhatt will contest from Haba Kadal seat, Mohammad Akram Chaudhary from Gulabgarh seat.

Kuldeep Raj Dubey will contest against Riasi while Baldev Raj Sharma will contest against Shri Mata Vishudevi.

It said that Thakur Randhir Singh will contest from Kalakot-Rajouri, Chaudhry Zulfikar Ali from Budhal. Iqbal Malik from Muhammad Thana Mandi, Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari from Sorankot.

Chaudhary Abdul Ghani from Poonch Haveli, Murtaza Khan from Mendhar.

Pawan Gupta will fight from Udhampur West, Balwant Singh from Mankotia Chenani.

Sunil Bhardwaj from Ramnagar, Jeevanlal from Bani.

It said that Satish Sharma will fight from Bilawar while Darshan Singh will fight from Bisohli.

Rajiv Jasrotiya will fight Jasrota. From Hiranagar, he nominated Adv Vijay Kumar Sharma.

From Ramgarh to Dr. Devendra Kumar Munyal, from Samba Surjit Singh Salathia.

Vijaypur to Chandra Prakash Ganga, Suchitgarh to Gharu Ram Bhagat.

Dr. Narendra Singh Raina from RS Pura – Jammu South. And from Jammu East he nominated Yudhvir Sethi.

From Nagrota he nominated Devendra Singh Rana, while from Jammu West, he nominated Arvind Gupta.

From Jammu North, Shamlal Sharma, from Akhnoor, Mohanlal Bhagat.

From Chhamb, he said he is nominating Rajeev Sharma.
