It is alleged that Kejriwal's personal assistant Kumar assaulted Maliwal at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence on the morning of May 13. Maliwal has claimed that Bebhav Kumar kicked her in the chest, stomach and pelvis and brutally “dragd her and pulled up her shirt”.

The incident reportedly took place when she went to meet the Chief Minister at his residence. He was present at the house at the time of the ceremony.

The Aam Aadmi Party alleged that Maliwal was “blackmailed” by the BJP to be part of a “conspiracy” against Kejriwal as he faces a corruption case and that the BJP party MP Raghu Chadha and Delhi Ministers Atshi and Saurabh Bhardwaj also want to be jailed. .

Atishi, who is also a cabinet minister in the Delhi government, alleged that Maliwal went to the chief minister's official residence without an appointment.

Meanwhile, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal said the matter is currently “sub judice” and his comment could affect proceedings.

“But I hope there will be a fair investigation, there should be justice, there are two versions of the incident, the police should investigate both versions fairly and justice should be done,” he said. PTI

When Maliwal was asked recently whether Bebhav was instructed to beat him up, he said, “It is a matter of investigation whether he did it himself or was instructed to do it. I am cooperating with the investigation.” “I am not giving a clean chit to anyone. The fact is that I was beaten up and Arvind Kejriwal was there”. ANI.
