Lenovo launches new tab cum portable speaker, which will give you the right beats – know the price and specifications

Lenovo has launched the all-new Lenovo Tab Plus, but it is not just a tab, it might be more than what we expected. This latest offering from Lenovo is a portable speaker. Lenovo has included eight JBL speakers in this tab alone. Yes, you read it right. There are eight speakers including four matrix tweeters and four force-balanced woofers with four speakers of 22cc total in the box. Gone are the days when we used to get one or maximum two speakers in our tabs. You might be thinking that such an addition would cost a lot of money, right?

This is another surprising thing because the price of this tab will not burn a hole in your pocket. It is in the mid-range budget segment and it does not seem like much when we see what it has to offer.

Lenovo Tab Plus: Price, availability

Lenovo Tab Plus is priced at €279 (Rs 24,995). Lenovo has launched this tab in Luna Gray color.

According to the company, this tablet is already available in select markets across the world.

Lenovo Tab Plus: Specifications

The Lenovo Tab Plus is an Android tablet with an 11.5-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, which is better than the average computer monitor. It operates on a MediaTek Helio G99 processor paired with 8GB of RAM, making it suitable for activities like watching movies, streaming music, and casual gaming. The tablet includes an expandable micro SD card slot, which is becoming rare on Android devices, and offers up to 256GB of internal storage.

The Lenovo Tab Plus is equipped with eight JBL speakers optimised with Dolby Atmos, including four matrix tweeters and four force-balanced woofers. Additionally, it has a 175-degree pivoting kickstand, giving you versatile positions to listen to podcasts from a distance or enjoy music up close.

Lenovo is selling this tablet primarily as a media consumption device, a focus that is evident from its 8MP front and rear cameras. It comes with Android 14 pre-installed, and Lenovo guarantees two years of OS updates along with four years of security patches.

Powered by an 8,600mAh battery, the Lenovo Tab Plus promises standard endurance for a tablet in this category. Lenovo claims it can be fully charged in just 90 minutes, which is beneficial for passengers using it for in-flight entertainment. The tablet also has an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance, making it safe for use in humid environments like bathrooms without the risk of damage.
