Man poo! Sons wife's coke would drug him to death and marry his daughter who was in on the conspiracy.

A man has admitted to spiking his wife's Coca-Cola drink with drugs including cocaine and MDMA, with the aim of killing her and marrying her daughter.

Alfred W. Roof, 71, has pleaded guilty to spiking his wife's drinks at least a dozen times in 2021, state court documents obtained by WXIN show.

Ruf's wife went to the police in January 2022 after Ruf admitted that he tried to plant her on d@th.

The wife said she had been to the hospital a half-dozen times in a few weeks after experiencing other symptoms, including headaches, diarrhea and drowsiness.

He tested positive for some drugs he did not knowingly self-administer, including cocaine, MDMA and benzodiazepines.

As Richmond police officers responded, Roof was reportedly heard saying that he mixed an “unknown substance” in his wife's drink that his own daughter had given him.

The wife handed over to the police a pill bottle containing a white powder along with a coke can filled with similar residue.

Roof then confesses that he tried to kill his wife in order to marry their daughter. He said that the substance put his wife to sleep for about 13 hours.

“He said he would do it to kill her,” court documents state.

Roof claimed that Betty and a friend told him to put powder in his wife's can of coke and wait for her to fall asleep, and that the couple would then go to their Indiana home to “put on a show.”

He added that he had sex with one woman while the other woman stole his wife's belongings. Roof said he paid the women for the crimes.

She claimed the daughter told Roof to “take mom out of the picture” and cash her insurance policy. Roof said his daughter planned to marry him after he “took care” of his wife.

Roof allegedly admitted he did what he did to his wife “because he felt bad”.

But the wife told authorities that Roof admitted he had been “drugging” her into engaging in sexual activities with the daughter and her friend.

Ruf pleaded guilty Monday, Aug. 26, in Wayne County Court to aggravated battery by d@th. He was accused of conspiring against him and dismissed.

Roof was sentenced to four years in prison plus five years of probation.
