Mirzapur season 3 trailer: As expected, the third installment of the crime thriller series is full of bloodshed, sex and gang politics. It doesn't introduce any major characters but hints at the kind of chaos that could ensue in the absence of Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi) and Munna Bhaiya (Divyendu Sharma). What's in the trailer?
The trailer begins with Guddu Bhaiya (Ali Fazal) taking charge by smashing Tripathi's statue in the middle of the square with a hammer. However, he doesn't realise that there are many other contenders for that throne. For instance, Vijay Verma's Bharat Tyagi. At the end of the trailer, Tripathi steps out of the shadows and promises to reclaim the throne and empire he built with his late father.
It features Rasika Dugal's Beena Tripathi as the gradually-crowned new king, Guddu Bhaiya, his right-hand woman Golu (Shweta Tripathi), Isha Talwar as politician Madhuri Yadav, and Guddu Bhaiya's estranged parents, played by Rajesh Tailang and Sheeba Chaddha.

In this 10-episode series, the makers said that fans will see the stakes getting even higher and the canvas getting bigger. As per the official synopsis, “However, the rules will remain the same while all eyes are on the coveted throne in the fictional world of Mirzapur. The biggest question is whether the gaddi or throne of Mirzapur will be earned or snatched in a battle for power and dominance where trust is a luxury no one can afford.”
The third season of Mirzapur features a strong cast of Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Duggal, Vijay Verma, Isha Talwar, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painhuly, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chaddha, Meghna Malik and Manu Rishi Chaddha.
The first season of this crime drama set in Mirzapur premiered in 2018 and the second season in 2020. The third season will premiere on July 5 on Prime Video India.
